Workplan (Block Pattern), Installation, 2005

Exhibition Fabryka Fantasmaggorii, Kestenberg Factory, Lodz, Poland, as part of the international project Site-ations, Sense of Place. This site-specific installation was made in an abandoned garment factory which had undergone a series of changes of ownership in the period from the German occupation at the outbreak of the Second World War until the collapse of the communist regime in Poland. At different times in its history the factory had produced women's clothing and military uniforms. The work explored  forms of database and organisational structures within the workplace producing hybrid garments.
